The article describes the structure of the pharmaceutical branch of the Buryat-Mongolian ASSR and its functioning in the conditions of transition to the principles of the command-administrative economic system. The author characterizes the work of pharmacies, dealing with personnel problems. Special attention is paid to the transition to a planned centralized procurement of medical supplies.
