ACCOUNTING OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL COMPONENT IN THE ASSESSMENT OF INVESTMENT PROJECTS EFFICIENCY IN THE REPUBLIC OF BURYATIA

The article presents the analysis of the investment project’s efficiency assessment methodology used in the Republic of Buryatia. It examines project selection criteria with regard to economic, social, environmental, and budgetary components. The shortcomings of environmental efficiency assessment indicators have been exposed and suggestions to rectify them developed.
