OFFICE DOCUMENTS AS A SOURCE ON THE HISTORY OF THE STUDY OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL COLLECTIONS (BASED ON THE MATERIALS OF THE MUSEUM OF BURYAT SCIENTIFIC CENTER OF SB RAS)

The article describes the main types of records management documents that accompany the formation and study of archaeological collections at the present time. On the example of the documents of the Museum of the Buryat Scientific Center the author shows the source potential and the possibility of analyzing the geography and dynamics of research interests of scientists who turned to the collections of the Museum. The article marks changes in the thematic queries, improving methods of research exhibits. The sources of the analysis were the book of Museum receipts, inventory books, the book of registration of issue of Museum objects to researchers, a set of statements of researchers for the period from 2008 to 2018.
