The article considers the economic development of the Republic of Buryatia in relation to the subjects of the Siberian Federal District. Developing and lagging regions for different indicators are defined. The analysis of the Republic of Buryatia and subjects of the Siberian Federal District on 3 main sectors of the economy was carried out.
