The article evaluates political caricature as historical source reflecting world powers Far-Eastern policy at the turn of XIX–XX centuries, the similarities and differences of political caricature of various countries in connection with Russia having been revealed. The article examines the role of political caricature as effective means of public opinion forming, the degree of its cliché fullness.
