SOME NEW THOUGHTS ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF A DECIPHERMENT OF THE INSCRIPTIONS ON THE “RUNIC DIRHAMS” BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF THE TURKIC LANGUAGES

The article discusses the possibility of reading the inscriptions with runiform script on the known, but unidentified silver Arabic dirhams of the two types, based on the new interpretation of several signs that, according to the author, can be used to compare that runiform inscription with the coin legend with Arabic texts. In particular, it is talking about the fact of the possibility of reading the title *bäk, giving the basis for the corresponding interpretation of another runiform signs.
