CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN AND FOREIGN HISTORIOGRAPHY OF THE HISTORY OF MEDICINE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PROBLEM OF INTERACTION BETWEEN RUSSIA AND THE MONGOLIAN PEOPLES IN HEALTH PROTECTION

This paper analyzes modern Russian and Western historiography of the history of Russian medicine in the problem context of interaction between Russia and the peoples of the Mongolian world in health protection during the last third of the nineteenth – first half of the twentieth centuries. The studies are scrutinized from the viewpoint of conceptual significance for this research field. The author explains their role in the creation of new multidisciplinary knowledge about socio-political and sociocultural impacts of the pre-revolutionary Russian and Soviet medicine in Inner Asia.
