ETHICAL IDEALISM OF EARLY BUDDHISM AND CHRISTIANITY: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

The article considers the circumstances of the emergence and development of Buddhism and Christianity in the early period of their formation in the light of the formation of a religious ethos. The moral ideal of these religious traditions is highlighted, the factors that have served to the success of the preaching of these teachings are revealed. The article is in addition to the theme of the masterʼs study “The religious ethos of Buddhism and Christianity: a comparative analysis”.
