Ensemble of the Paleolithic sites at Podzvonkaya locality in the south-east of the Kyakhta district of the Republic of Burуatia, is one of the largest sites in the north-east of Central Asia with archeological materials dating back to the early stage of the Upper Paleolithic. Natural science data obtained during the investigation of Podzvonkaya Paleolithic complexes served as the base for the reconstruction of paleoenvironment in the Tamir River basin and modeling of human adaptation in Paleolithic time to various natural-climatic conditions. The problem of small quantity or full absence of fossil pollen grains in cultural horizons appeared in the process of work on paleoenvironment reconstruction. This became the hindrance for research of flora dynamics in ancient settlement neighborhood. In the result of new investigations, the representational spore-and-pollen spectrum was obtained for those layers that were empty earlier. Based on new data the models of palaeoenvironment development in the region under the study have been corrected.
