THE CRANIOLOGICAL COLLECTION OF THE KYAKHTA MUSEUM OF LOCAL LORE

The article discusses the preservation of historical and cultural heritage in Buryatia, in particular, the formation of the anthropological collection of the Kyakhta Museum of Local Lore. Most of the materials were investigated and transferred to the museum by the encyclopedic scientist Yu. D. Talko-Gryntsevich. Using craniological materials as an example, the possibility of collaboration on attribution and modern research of already known collections is shown. For the first time, individual data on the craniological collection of the museum are published.
