REVISION LISTS OF THE STATE ARCHIVE OF THE REPUBLIC OF BURYATIA AS A SOURCE FOR THE GENEALOGY OF BAPTIZED NATIVES

The article considers prospects for the study of genealogy that the revision lists kept in the State Archive of the Republic of Buryatia (GARB) offer. These primary sources allow studying the genealogical origins of the population of the Baikal region, which includes the territory of the modern Irkutsk oblast, Zabaikal’sky krai and the Republic of Buryatia.
