The article assesses the agricultural production results in three regions of the Russian Federation: Irkutsk oblast, Republic of Buryatia and Zabaykalsky Krai, which are included in the Baikal Region. The agriculture functioning conditions in the Baikal region are considered. The specifics and problems of this economic sector development are revealed for all three regions.
