ABOUT THE GREAT RVA LO TSĀ BA, HIS SPIRITUAL BIOGRAPHY AND CONTRIBUTION TO THE SPREAD OF THE YAMANTAKA TANTRA IN TIBET

This article presents biographical data about the Tibetan yogi Rva lo tsā ba Rdo rje grags, who spread the cycle of teachings and practices of Yamāntaka Tantra. The author characterizes the Tibetan text “Rva lo tsā ba’s ‘Namtar’” written by his nephew Ra Yeshe Sengé as an important source of information about personality, activity, and teachings of this great lotsawa and yogi.
