THE ONE MIND IN THE TEACHING OF TIANTAI-TENDAI

This article is devoted to the study of the category of the one mind in the Chinese Tiantai school and the Japanese Tendai school. The one mind forms the foundation of the universe in the Tiantai tradition, is considered as the basis of being and the way of salvation for all living beings. The author compares the development of idea in China and Japan.
