CHINESE BUDDHIST SENGYOU AND AN ANTHOLOGY OF THE EARLY CHINESE BUDDHISM “HONG MING JI”

The article contains basic information about the early medieval anthology of texts of early Chinese Buddhism and its author-compiler Seng You. The author compiled dynasty-chronological tables with the years of life of Chinese Buddhist authors, which will provide a clear and intuitive spatial and temporal picture of the world of early Chinese Buddhism in its synchronous and diachronic section, and also to trace the interrelations between the various Buddhist figures of this era of Chinese history.
