RUSSIAN BORDER REGIONS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MONGOLIAN CORRIDOR

The article considers the participation of Russian border regions in the formation of the China – Mongolia – Russia economic corridor (or Mongolian Corridor), defines the zones of economic activity in the bordering space of the three countries. The foreign trade relations of the border regions of Russia, including with Mongolia and China, are analyzed. The practical issues of the border infrastructure operation are discussed on the example of the Republic of Buryatia.
